why you should not eat pork in Islam
Pork
by Mostafa A. Refaei
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the most merciful
Another example of those who allow themselves to express opinions without the slightest awareness of the saying of Allah: {Say: 'In what is revealed to me I find no other prohibitions about food, if not' dead animal, blood poured out and the pork - which is unclean. "} [Surat Al-An'am (The Cattle), vers. No 145]. They say that such a ban, according to them, concerned that time of the pig, who was accustomed to eating from garbage and feces, and this is not applicable to the pig of our times that is raised under sanitary control! [1]
They want to divert Qur'an a second time during certain periods in their complacent, but the will One who is blessed and glorious, who has sent down is to make books of all time.
[1] From "Divine Verses - the miracle of the Qur'an": pp. 227-229: "The prohibition of eating pork - pork Having alluded to, you can not avoid talking about it. More or less everyone knows that Muslims do not eat meat because the Qur'an (2:173, 5:3; 6:145, 16:115) forbids man to eat. Often, this ban has been the subject of mockery in the mouths of non-Muslims. Now, however, the framework is food, even scientifically, many funds: So it's Because the Muslims are right to take against those who still eat it.
But let's see why. Our limited human knowledge only recently been able to discover the many damages that pork can make in the human body. Besides the fact that the pig is not only a herbivore carnivore but also, it contains a third peculiarity very disgusting food: it is, indeed, as noted also iatrochemists Paracelsus, an eater of dung! In fact, in many places in the world where there are no sewage systems that animal was and is still used, in fact, as a cleaner.
turns out to be - for those who always reflected - the question of good taste and high culture do not swallow the meat of a beast so hideous and disgusting: we need to say anything but "Enjoy!" when you consume meals of pork!
Pork, moreover, has malfunctioning kidneys. That is to say, unlike us humans or animals in general, its filtration system is physical constitution, in a certain way, sick or to put it more exactly, there is little operational: we are able to clean up the Our body is approximately 94% of uric acid through our kidneys and through urine, so also all the common animals. The pig, however, fails to expel the exception of about 4-5%. And the rest? The remains of course in the physical; we must not, in fact, surprised his fatten fast: it is much of what he had to finish in his urine! Uric acid (like other substances in urine), it is well known, is a dangerous poison, the vehicle of many diseases.
By then using the field of parasitology and microbiology than is demonstrated by yet another angle, such as pork contains high levels of pathogens that pose a considerable risk of disease.
This animal has in common with the man three treacherous guests: Balantidium coli, taenia solium and Trichinella. What would they be? We'll say it now:
1. The Balantidium coli, is a parasite that lives in the intestine large intestine. Its incidence is 21% pork, and 1% in humans. From pig to man through the food chain. The presence of this protozoan parasite causes diarrhea accompanied by severe pain in the abdomen, and can even be lethal.
2. The taenia solium (= the "tapeworm") is another parasite that dwells in the pig, from which it passes to humans. The incidence of human infestation by the pig varies from area to area. Some millions of men, however, are infected with this worm very reliable according to a report issued by an authoritative parasitologist. It is well known how difficult it is to cure those who are infested. The removal of this worm is indeed very difficult.
3. Trichinosis is another worm that, in turn, is hidden in muscle fibers of the pig. If the infested meat is ingested, trichinosis is installed in the small intestine of man, where reproduction takes place, and it is through the bloodstream to the larvae - 1500 per female - invade the whole body (muscles, skeleton, brain, bone marrow, retina and lungs). Its presence in the physical causes symptoms that are very similar to those produced by a specific fifty diseases, the diagnosis is therefore very difficult. Trichinosis, which is the name of the disease caused by this worm breaks out in epidemic form.
Another guest of the pig is the Erysipelothrix rhusiopathia. It is the pathogenic factor of acute or chronic erysipelas. That is acute, mainly consisting of high fever accompanied by a marked decrease in activity and appetite. As chronic, however, produces a diamond-shaped scales that affect the heart valves, and may cause the alteration of the functioning of the heart and also led to sudden death. The Erysipelothrix rhusiopathia is present in the body by about 30% of the pigs healthy and can survive for a long time even in its dried meat.
Among other damage inflicted by the pig include the following disorders: hemoptysis endemic, brucellosis, jaundice, intestinal obstruction, acute pancreatitis, anemia, and so on. In reality, there is no other animal food traditions among those included in the outside of the standard (dogs, cats, snails, frogs, etc..) Bearer of such a high potential for adverse effects to human health because the pig.
Notice how none of the formulations reported here proves the Koran in opposition with the data of modern knowledge, nor with anything that might reasonably arise therefrom. "
